Terms & Conditions
1) Acceptance and Scope
- By purchasing a ticket or attending, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
- These Terms govern entry and participation and override conflicting representations.
2) Tickets and Entry
- Tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
- The Organiser may refuse admission or eject any person for safety or compliance reasons without refund.
- Tickets are valid only for the specified date and venue.
3) Refunds
- Refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) days after the event via hello@countdownafrica.com.
- Refunds are at the Organiser’s discretion and may include processing fees.
- No refunds for no-shows, lost tickets, or late arrivals.
- If cancelled or rescheduled beyond control, refunds or alternatives may be offered.
4) Event Changes, Cancellations, and Scheduling
- The Organiser may change artists, venue, or schedule without notice.
- If postponed, tickets remain valid for the new date or refunds may be offered.
5) Health, Safety, and Conduct
- Attendees must follow laws, venue rules, and staff instructions.
- Prohibited items include weapons, illegal substances, dangerous items, and outside food/drink (except medical needs).
- Security checks and bag searches may be conducted.
- The Organiser is not liable for injury or loss except as required by law.
6) Photography, Video, and Media Use
Attendance constitutes consent to photography, filming, and recording, and grants the Organiser a perpetual,
worldwide, royalty-free license to use such media for marketing, promotions, social media, and broadcast
without compensation.
To opt out, notify staff in writing before entering or use the designated opt-out channel.
7) Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, and branding remain the property of the Organiser or respective owners.
8) Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data is processed according to applicable data protection laws and used for administration,
communication, marketing (where permitted), and legal compliance. See the Privacy Policy for details.
9) Prohibited Behaviour and Security
Harassment, discrimination, violence, or disruption may result in removal without refund. Screenings and
enforcement actions may be applied.
10) Accessibility
Reasonable accommodations are available. Contact hello@countdownafrica.com at least 14 days before the event.
11) Limitation of Liability; Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not liable for losses arising from attendance except
where caused by negligence or wilful misconduct. Attendees agree to indemnify the Organiser against claims
resulting from their breach or actions.
12) Force Majeure
The Organiser is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control. Refunds or
alternatives may be provided at discretion.
13) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, with disputes resolved in Ghanaian courts where applicable.
14) Miscellaneous
- Invalid provisions do not affect the remainder of the Terms.
- The Organiser may assign these Terms without notice.
- These Terms form the entire agreement regarding the event.
14.1) Updates to Terms
The Organiser may modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on official platforms.
Continued attendance or service use after updates indicates acceptance of revised Terms.
